Reply Health score: your inbox standing in one number

Most deliverability tools hand you a wall of raw metrics and leave you to interpret them. Reply Health does the interpreting. It takes the three numbers that actually move inbox placement — reply rate, spam complaints and bounces — and folds them into one 0–100 score with a plain-English label, so a glance tells you whether your sending is healthy or slipping.

What goes into the score

• Reply rate — the share of nudged users who actually reply. This is the signal inbox providers weight most heavily, because a genuine reply is the hardest thing to fake at scale.
• Complaint rate — how often recipients mark your mail as spam. Providers punish senders who cross ~0.1%, so this input pulls the score down fast.
• Bounce rate — invalid or rejected addresses. A clean list keeps this low; a spike is an early warning that something upstream is wrong.

Why one number beats a dashboard

Reputation is a moving target, and the failure mode is quiet: your complaint rate drifts up half a percent, your reply rate dips, and nothing looks obviously broken until mail starts landing in Promotions. A single score with a clear band — Excellent, Good, or a warning — makes that drift visible the day it starts, not the week your activation rate craters.
